Meet the Team
I'm Helen ... congratulations, you have now met the team! I'm the founder of Wellbeing Training Solutions (formerly Boutique Training Solutions), or more precisely I am Wellbeing Training Solutions. As such, the vision, service and experience are completely personal, responsive and entirely down to "yours truly". Just the way I like it.
For around 20 years, my work has pretty consistently entailed a training, teaching or coaching element. My first "proper" teaching role came in 2004 when I took on the challenge of Personal Tutoring at MidKent College. It was there I achieved my Certificate in Education (Post Compulsory), and really cut my teeth in the classroom. That was an audience that took no prisoners and a superb training ground (pardon the pun).
After 5 years there, I moved into Public Health where I was fortunate enough to blend my experience in education with my interest in smoking cessation. It was also during this time that I attained my Psychology BSc - perfect for feeding my curiosity about what makes us tick! Next came a period managing a team of NHS Health Trainers and then supporting GP surgeries and Pharmacies to deliver NHS Health Checks.
Why Wellbeing Training Solutions?
All of these great experiences, with truly amazing people, led me to founding Wellbeing Training Solutions in 2016. This is where I've been able to fulfil my passion as an educator, with my experience in health and well-being. It is without doubt the greatest pleasure of my career and I have yet to find a working experience that beats the buzz of an engaged room of participants who have the confidence to use their new knowledge and skills in the real world. A good day delivering (or participating in!) training is truly not like work at all. Those experiences invariably lead to requests to help organisation look beyond just training and I'm always happy to help with taking a more strategic approach. Workplace wellbeing goes far beyond helping individuals.
If your people had great wellbeing and health, what could that do for your business?
Upskilling your people, can transform their lives and your outcomes. What have you got to lose by exploring the possibilities? More importantly, what have you got to gain?
