What if you train your people and they leave?
What if you don't train them and they stay? A business can only perform at its best if it upskills its people to respond to an ever evolving environment. Change can happen unexpectedly fast, and for businesses, that can prove challenging without the right attitudes and skills in place. Wellbeing Training Solutions provides the right training so individuals can be equipped to perform more confidently and competently. Some of our skills training covers what some refer to as "soft skills", but we know they are anything but soft, and instead consider them essential skills.
These are the skills the majority of people never got taught at school, at home, or at work. These are skills that we are expected to have mastered instinctively, but few people do. These are the skills of life, always life-enhancing, sometimes life-changing. |
Personal SkillsThis is often the starting point for our training. This is all the stuff that's inside us, generating barriers to us being as open and effective as we could be. Think topics such as mindset, stress management, resilience and anxiety. Coping skills or skills that help you get out of your own way, by reducing thinking errors. Removing barriers and creating opportunities.
People SkillsOnce individual personal skill gaps have been addressed, the next logical step is to address any people or interpersonal skills gaps. These range from understanding your impact on others, to evaluating and adapting your communication style to achieve greater confidence and impact. This is social awareness, relationship management, teamwork and collaboration; these topics help people glide more easily through the world, standing out for all the right reasons. This pillar supports you to become the person you would want to work with, do business with, recommend and trust.

Professional SkillsProfessional development skills training encompasses a whole range of topics which one would be expected to operate effectively and professionally in a corporate environment. These create better business environments, impressions to others, and balance. The skills included here would include time management, and presentation skills.
Leadership SkillsPeople often get promoted because they're good at their job. That doesn't mean they're going to make a good manager or leader. Courses for leaders will often contain more advanced aspects of the three pillars outlined already, but with a strong emphasis on how those skills impact others when there is a power dynamic. How to create an inclusive, psychologically safe environment for your people is a central theme. As with all of our courses, the individual delegate's wellbeing (in these courses, the leader) is as much a priority as their ability to lead.
