What has skills training got to do with wellbeing?
Lots of training fixates only on the desired skills outcomes. We believe skills are important, but so is the journey. Our training challenges attitudes and beliefs. We seek to not just show someone how to do something differently, but also to see how a small shift in attitude, can support an individual's growth, self-efficacy and performance in a wider context, instigating a positive ripple effect. We only engage in training that supports the wellbeing of individuals, leaving them enriched by the experience as well as able to deliver business outcomes as a result.
What area do you cover?
Nationwide and beyond.
Do you deliver virtual training as well as face-to-face?
Absolutely. Face-to-face has many benefits but particularly for dispersed teams, it can be a real challenge. We will work with you to find the right solution.
How long are the training sessions?
They vary according to need. To get maximum benefit, half-day courses are generally the minimum. But we understand that some businesses can't release people for that long, so we aim to tailor appropriate sessions for unique situations.
Is there a recommended number of people required per session?
This varies from session to session. Normally eight to ten would be a minimum to avoid less confident delegates feeling too exposed. A lecture type session can accommodate hundreds, but doesn't provide such great opportunities for interaction or addressing questions. Again, flexibility while providing real value is our goal.
Can we record the session you deliver for us?
With prior agreement and an understanding of how the recording will be used, normally, yes. Sessions should never be shared outside the team it was commissioned for, and will normally have an expiration date.
Our organisation has quite unique needs. Do you offer bespoke training?
Yes, of course. Just get in touch to discuss your needs and what we can offer. Some businesses have even requested pre-recorded sessions for dispersed teams, so each person can access sessions at a time convenient to them.
What do you charge?
Each project is priced individually. It will depend on many factors including how much research and development is required, how long the session will be, the number of delegates and much more. In a recent questionnaire completed by our clients however, every respondent said they were highly satisfied with our pricing. So don't ponder and miss out, feel free to enquire.
Do you work with private individuals?
Generally, we only work with organisations. If you are an individual interested in the training we provide, please feel free to make an enquiry, and we will be happy to see whether we can assist you.
Are we just going to get another death by PowerPoint session?
We will almost always use a PowerPoint presentation, however this is primarily so delegates have the benefit of a record of important details of the session. People can miss a lot if they have to keep splitting their attention between listening, engaging and scribblng lots of notes. Death by PowerPoint however? Absolutely not! Sessions are highly interactive, engaging, thought-provoking and delegates tell us, inspirational and motivational. Death by PowerPoint? Not here!
