Recognition
Feedback takes many shapes and forms, and 2023 saw recognition beyond the usual evaluations and testimonials, as we were acknowledged in two very special additional ways.
Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards
The Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards afforded the work of Wellbeing Training Solutions with a Highly Commended certificate. The certification was very warmly received, however the nomination from Stuart Clack at National Grid Ventures (partially cited below), was so generously given and warmly received, summing up so much of what this business strives to achieve.
Health Service Journal Awards
The national Health Service Journal Awards are a highly prestigious annual event, celebrating the very best achievements in health. Helen was delighted to be invited to attend the awards ceremony as a guest of ek360 who were nominated in the category of Innovation and Improvement in Reducing Healthcare Inequalities. The nomination was for their ground-breaking Hypertension Heroes project which recruits and trains volunteers, to support others in their community to understand, identify and seek treatment for hypertension. This initiative reduces health inequalities, improves health outcomes and builds resilience in communities.
Helen was fortunate to have been involved in the project since its inception, writing the training package and delivering the training to every volunteer in each phase. It was this work that led to her being an invited guest of the larger project team. Following the awards ceremony she shared "This is definitely one of the proudest moments of my professional life. To have trained and engaged with so many wonderful people on this project was reward enough, but to be invited to celebrate the successes with the ek360 team and their partners was a privilege and a pleasure".

Training evaluations and testimonials
Here are just a few of the comments provided by clients and delegates, summarising their experience and its impact.
Informal feedback
Feedback is taken incredibly seriously here at Wellbeing Training Solutions, but not all of it can be captured on evaluations. Three things most often commented on by delegates at the end of sessions, can broadly be summarised as:
That last comment is particularly heart-warming, as it's indicative that the topics and delivery have struck a chord, and people are unexpectedly inspired. The number of returning clients we secure is further testament to the satisfaction and impact of our offer.
Our aim is to keep developing and delivering these same high standards, to support more businesses and their people.
- You really know your stuff!
- We can see how passionate you are about your subject and how much you care.
- How did you get to do your job?
